Drunken Shrimp Recipe

Here is an easy recipe that you will love. These delicious hor d' oeuvres will have your guests tempted for more. A great appetizer for any occasion.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup armagnac or other type of brandy
  • 1 pound medium shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Directions

In a shallow dish add the brandy to the shrimp and let marinate for 15 minutes.

Remove the shrimp from the marinade and place on a paper towel. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper.

In a large skillet heat 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. Add the shrimp and stir fry on high until browned on both sides (about 1-2 minutes total). Serve immediatly.
